So I was in my local Staples store and saw these cool looking smoke-colored containers. I was thinking about using it as an emergency cat litter box for Whiskers, my albino cat that has a bit of a problem remembering where her litter box is, and who has decided that the corner of my home office is a great alternate spot... BAD WHISKERS! Anyway, I get home with the box and discover that the hanging files I bought (because they were on this wicked-good sale) actually fit in the box perfectly! Those funny white metal rods that are in the folders? Dude, they hang right on the inside edges of the box! I'm like, "no way!!" So, it's back in the car and off to Staples to pick up 4 more (and several more boxes of the aforementioned hanging files) so that I can start using these things post-haste to store all the miscellaneous stuff I have lying around the home office. The home office is now looking super awesome now (if I do say so myself), and I have these cool boxes stacked in Whiskers favorite corner, so that's no longer an issue - though a quick sniff test tells me that she's staking claim to someplace in the living room...
Anyway, these boxes are A+ for use with hanging files (also available at your Staples store), though up to this point I have to say they are untested as cat litter box sustitutes.
