It said they were legal/letter but the only size files that would work properly were letter size.

Bought the Staples brand of this box because the Quill brand was no longer available. Two our of the four boxes we used had the buttons pop off. Looked like the buttons might have been defective. The price was better than buying the Banders Box brand of storage boxes, but the quality was just not there. Next time, will spend the extra dollars.

I was asked to purchase these for an office move. We did not over-fill the boxes or apply much pressure to them, but the buttons popped right off when we pulled the string around them. I do not think it was just a fluke, because after opening 3 of the 6 cartons we ordered and finding all but one of the boxes defective, we sent them all back.
