Comments about Staples® Lucite Frame, 8-1/2" x 11", Clear:

The frame cannot be permanently attached to a surface for display - the enclosed magnetics must be used. The frame is only open on the left and right sides and it must be removed from the display surface to insert the contents. If it is permanently attached and then the contents are inserted they will not enter entirely and crease in the middle. This is not a 3 sided open frame that would be more user efficient. It serves a purpose, but certainly not mine. No other Lucite frames are offered.

Do Not Bother Buying These

I orderd 7 of these and not one came usable, Lucyte was scratched and there was a grove in the back side from the wrap around edge on both the top and bottom. This may be the reason they are so inexpensive!

Everyone of the frames I ordered(10)arrived scratched. They were wrapped in plastic, so it wasn't for lack of wrapping.

  This frame is open on the top and sides, so if it is outside in the elements it is possible for the paper inside to get wet.

  A magnet can be attached to the back of the frame. The item cannot be hung horizontally, as the material will fall out.

  The product comes with 2 magnets each with velcro on them. There is paper you remove from one portion of the velcro that reveals a sticky side to mount on the product itself. The product can then be mounted to any magnetic surface. You can separate the velcro to remove the frame and change your picture while leaving the magnet on its previous surface. Simply put the velcro back together to hang again.

  The back is simply 2 pieces of plastic, there is no butterfly stand. It will not stand on a table top, it will need to be hung on a magnetic surface.
