They advertise the top tab being 1/2" above the folder; it used to be, but a couple of months ago they changed the design. It now only extends 1/4" above the folder, which makes it difficult to apply labels and impossible to see anything other than the top line of a label.

The closed side design of the file jackets keep all receipts, regardless of size, in the folder. There is no chance that any will fall out, a plus for organizing those little bits of paper the IRS tells us to keep!
