Q: I sit close to my desk, as far in as I can go. The opening where I sit is 28" from the floor. I need to know if the arm rests will fit underneath the desk. Also, is it possible to leave the headrest off the chair as I do not lean back. thanks! Asked on 1/22/2013 by sharonmeyer Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: You should have no problem fitting this chair under the desk as the seat height is adjustable and the arms rests can be adjusted for height and/or width. The head rest is also height adjustable and articulates if it is not removable. Answered on 1/22/2013 by Community Answer from None
Q: Most retailers categorize chairs by the hours of use/day standard. This makes the selection of the appropriate chair much simpler. Q: What is the length from one armrest to the other armrest? What is the lowest height of the chair and the lowest height of the armrests together? Is it low enough for a keyboard tray height? Is it high enough to use with the top of a desk? Asked on 8/14/2012 by Richy12345 from Miami,FL Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: The lowest height of the Staples Mesh Managers Chair with Headrest is 44 3/8". It would be low enough for a keyboard tray height yet high enough for use with the top of a desk generally. For more information on the chair and the height of the armrests please contact the manufacturer at 1-(800) 425-0049. Answered on 8/16/2012 by Linda from Staples A: This chair does not have a manual with full specifications, however there exists some dimensions of the chair. The seat dimensions are as follows 18-3/4" - 22-1/4"H x 20-1/2"W x 19-3/4"D. Where as the overall dimensions are as follows 44-3/8" - 47-7/8"H x 28"W x 25-1/2"D. The seat to floor can adjust anywhere from 18-3/4" - 22-1/4"H. It is hard to say whether this chair would be low enough for a keyboard or high enough for the top of a desk without the dimensions of the specific desk you are wishing to use. The chair arms are adjustable, and the back of the chair has a width of 20" and the height of 28-1/2". Answered on 8/16/2012 by Community Answer from None
Q: How do you get this chair to tilt? I can't get it to lean back even a little bit and the tension adjustment under the chair has not effect. I saw something in the online description about a tilt lock? Where the heck is it? I didn't see anything in the manual about it...maybe I missed it. Asked on 7/19/2012 by G Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: The lever for the height adjustment cylinder also controls this function. While leaning forward a little to take pressure off the back, just pull the lever out(away from chair). This will free the chair from the upright only position.
