The cable works great. I purchased it to connect my MP3 player to my Auxiliary port on my car stereo. It performs the task well. The only thing that upsets me is the 6 foot length. There should be a smaller size available for purchase. Aside from the length, it is perfect.

Needed a cord that would connect my MP3 player to the aux outlet in my SUV's stereo. This was all Staples had and was [$]. WAY WAY too long of a cord! Like never needed to remove the ties on the cable to use it. Does the job but something about 6" long and less costly would have done better.

Not all 3.5mm audio jacks are the same. Some of the cheaper cables have a smaller connector on the tip. This cable worked fine as the remote control for my expensive McIntosh amplifier and wa worth every penny.

We had a 6 inch connector and it kept dropping the mp3 player in the car... very dangerous... so we got this one instead of the extender. Six feet goes a long, long way! It fits perfectly and no loss of the player while driving. It also allows the driver to put the mp3 player in your hand or lap, so you can maneuver it without difficulty. Just found this with the help of the great associates at our local store. A great bargin for under $10.00. Can't wait to use it in the house too! Thanks for such a great product!
