the assembly of the various panels seems simple till you realize the locking cams need to turn at least a 1/3 turn to hold securely. If they do not you must loosen the "pins". Otherwise forcing the cams ...they can break. Thus , take your time and do not force things...like the cams. PS---the panels don't line up good till all is tight.

More difficult to assemble than the matching large Mission Desk. (Assembly diagrams are not as clear as they could be.) A couple of screw holes were not predrilled at the factory as they should have been. Poor parts fit -- light can be seen through the joints where the side panels meet the back panel. Some particle board construction where I expected real wood.Given the poor quality control, I would bump my rating up a notch, and recommend the unit if the retail price were $25 - 35 less, or recommend it at current retail if there were no quality control issues.
