Q: I purchased this chair about 2 month's ago from the local Staples store. It was the demo model (already assembled), but also the only one left in stock. I did not receive any discount for this, and on top of that they told me I was already getting a good deal because I did not have to pay for assembly! I thought that was pretty hilarious. Anyway, I liked the chair and needed one ASAP, so I bought it. Now, 2 months later, the hydraulic mechanism appears to be leaking. After about 15 minutes of sitting, I end up sitting as low as it will go. It is extremely aggravating! The chair is comfy, but BEWARE! Apparently it does not hold up very well. Also, I am 6 ft. tall and weigh 200lbs. Clearly within the weight the chair is rated for, so we can rule obesity out as the cause. QUESTION: Is this covered by the 5 year manufacturer's warranty? If so, how do I claim it? Asked on 1/6/2011 by Adam from Fort Worth, TX Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: For product support please contact Staples Brand Group at 1.800.425.0049. Q: I also purchased this chair today and had it assembled by Staples. I realized when I got it home there were no instructions. The one level that turns does absolutely nothing - I think it's supposed to control the tilt of the chair. I tried the link posted for the previous question about instructions and the link takes you to page that does not function. I'll be returning the chair as soon as possible. Asked on 12/21/2010 by Anonymous from Camp Hill, PA Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: I'm sorry for the trouble here. If you need additional support, please feel free to call us at 1-800-333-3330. Answered on 12/22/2010 by Matt H. from Staples A: That lever controls the lean-back pressure. You may have to turn it considerably to notice the effect. It is not a tilt adjustment. Answered on 1/3/2011 by Ern from Menifee, Ca
