TERRIBLE CHAIR

I bought this chair after having a chair for at least 15 years. I wish I had it back. This chair is terrible. Besides the fact that it is too low to comfortably sit at my desk. About 1 month after having it - the hydraulics went. I contacted Staples and they told me to contact the manufacturer. I sent an email. They sent me a new part and a link to a you tube video on how to replace the part. Which actually went better than I expected. But alas... each day the air lets out little by little until one day I am sitting so low at my desk that I feel like a child. The worst thing about this chair is there is absolutely no padding. You can actually see the screws poking through on the seat. The arms of the cheap pleather are cracking. I want to upload a picture of it- it's hideous... It is the office joke... Poor choice on my part. I am actually sitting crooked - the whole seat tilts to the left. There is no way to tighten it... This is the WORST CHAIR EVER!!!!

    This chair was on the deal list at almost half the list price and also used some Staples cash to purchase it. So it became a no brainer. Got a really good product for virtually next to nothing.
    It is easy to assemble. We set up in less than twenty minutes.Pretty comfortable too. Considering that I spend long hours in front of the computer for work and leisure, I have had no problems in terms of fatigue or support. Nice size as it does not take up too ,much space. Would highly recommend it for daily use.

        This was purchased at an excellent bargain price for a product that turned out to be quite nice. It was very easy to assemble and seems to be pretty solidly built. I used on a Staples chair pad and it rolls around easily. My last chair was a cloth covered chair; this material is a solid leather like product, but the product is comfortable and does not get hot or sticky on clothing. The adjustments all seem to work appropriately. As I've only had it about a week, I don't know what it's long-term durability will be like, but it is fine so far.

            This chair as two plastic caps incasing two of the four mounting screws on the bottom of the chair- on the front mounting holes. There is barely enough room to get the screw threw the plastic incasement to mount to the chair. Are they suppose to be there? There isn't any on the back two holes which fit just fine.

            I purchased the Montessa Black Manager Chair on 05/29/11. This week the leather on the arms and seat are cracking open. I have no idea what is causing this. I am the only one that uses this chair (I'm a senior cititzen, not a kid) so it doesn't get a lot of wear & tear. I talked to my local Staples store personnel, and they said I needed to contact the manufacturer since the chair is over 1 year old. How do I contact the manufacturer? I am certainly not happy with this product.

            My chair is less than a year old. My problem was and is with the gas cylinder leaking and letting the chair sink. I called your business and received a new cylinder. Now I want to install it but I don't know how to get the top part of the cylinder out of the bracket that fastens to the bottom of the chair seat. I know it is just a press fit and I have worked on machinery etc. all my adult life but I can't figure how this comes apart. I did manage to get the base separated from the bottom of the cylinder but no luck on the top. Can anyone help, please?
