Q: This chair as two plastic caps incasing two of the four mounting screws on the bottom of the chair- on the front mounting holes. There is barely enough room to get the screw threw the plastic incasement to mount to the chair. Are they suppose to be there? There isn't any on the back two holes which fit just fine. Q: I purchased the Montessa Black Manager Chair on 05/29/11. This week the leather on the arms and seat are cracking open. I have no idea what is causing this. I am the only one that uses this chair (I'm a senior cititzen, not a kid) so it doesn't get a lot of wear & tear. I talked to my local Staples store personnel, and they said I needed to contact the manufacturer since the chair is over 1 year old. How do I contact the manufacturer? I know it is just a press fit and I have worked on machinery etc. all my adult life but I can't figure how this comes apart.
