Q: I purchased this stapler and it works fine. The only problem is that when the staples finished I loaded more but it's not stapling anymore. Am I doing something wrong or do I need to purchase special staples? Asked on 7/30/2010 by Gloria from Glendale, CA Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: Make sure you have standard staples in your stapler. This stapler does not require special staples, but you may have mistakenly put special staples in it. Else, you may have a jam inside the staple tray near the end. Check to make sure the staple pathway is clear and try stapling again. Q: What is the story on "flat stack" stapling versus ordinary stapling? Asked on 1/19/2010 by Anonymous from Toms River, NJ Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: This stapler folds the back legs of the staple perfectly flat, rather than rounded like typical staplers. One of the benefits of this is that when you find yourself grouping or stacking a number of individually stapled documents, this really minimizes that extra thick top left corner you get where all of the individual documents' staples increase the thickness. It even helps reduce the thickness of file folders containing these documents. I also love the fact that there are no more protruding staple ends that catch on other papers and also can give you little cuts on your fingers. Hope this helps.
