A Stack of Savings

I stapled two identical stacks of documents using my regular stapler on one, and my new flat stapler on the other. The difference was significant! My filing method was binders -- the completed task using my regular stapler had to be put into a 3" binder because of the bulk where the staples were inserted. The second set of documents stapled with the flat stapler could be filed in a 2" binder. Over a year's time this will save on filing space needed to store files. Stapler is easy to use--no jams so far. Found that it lives up to the description written about it. Staples are difficult to remove but pros outweigh cons.

Pushes easily enough however, does NOT fold the staples flat on the backside of the documents. Everytime I must hand push the staples flat. Tried taking staples out of other stapler that worked fine and still did the same thing in this stapler. Am looking for a different stapler because this is just a pain and time consuming.

      I had one of those squared off, simple, black staplers for decades and would still be using it if it hadn't disappeared. There was quite a selection when I finally gave in and went to buy a new one. Now I have a better stapler, one that is easy to use with one hand and even came in a nice blue. I expect this one to also last for decades and maybe the color will help me keep track of it.

          LOVED the first stapler it would staple with only a slight push. Then after 4 days of use a small plastic piece broke inside not exactly sure where it broke. The stapler would not staple. Went to the store and exchanged the stapler for a new one. This one is a dud. Makes a loud noise when it staples, I have to press hard to even go through 2 pages and it crimps the pages. I will take it back not sure what I will do.

              This looked like a good value and very sturdy. It turned out to be just an OK product. I would have returned it if I hadn't thrown out the receipt. It does not do such a great job with more than 1 or 2 sheets of paper. I am very disappointed.

                  A:

                  On the back of your stapler, there should be a black lever. If you push down on this lever, the front of your stapler will extend out allowing you to load staples.
