I acquired a box of these because I was looking for a budget option that would write smoothly and finely. The first one leaked into my dress shirt pocket, soaked through my undershirt and then to my skin, leaving me with 3 black spots at three different layers to deal with -- the very definition of a false economy.

I purchased both the Bic Velocity Gel-Ink Roller pens, Medium Point and the OptiFlow by Staples.

I will never purchase the Bic Velocity again however, I've found my prefered pen of choice.

The Staples OptiFlow Rollerball Pen, Fine Point.

It does not smear, the ink dries quickly and I cannot ask for a more smooth rolling pen.

Over all, I would and do recommend this pen to everyone...except those in our professional office building who constantly come into my office and walk away with my pens...get your own, now that you know where to purchase them!
