        The File Followers work pretty much the way that they are intended. There is nothing wrong with the Staples File Followers with the exception that they are an "optional", separate purchase for your file cabinet when they should come with the file cabinet. Selling a file cabinet without a way to adjust the files is like selling a car without a driver's seat.

        The follower is easy to install and does a fair job in holding the files. However, I found that the files slip under it; the "V" design is too high to keep this from happening. It's an annoyance, but I'll live with it.
