Worked perfectly and Installed easily!!

Opened the package and checked contents.
Removed the top drawer on filing cabinet, removed the knock-out for the lock, snapped the linkage on the slide bar lock, put the lock thru the hole and into the linkage, attached the lockring onto the lock and put top drawer back on. Less than 5 minutes and it was done. Works Great!!!

I purchased this lock with my file cabinet and was not able to install it. I followed every step and it seemed simple but it would lock my files and not unlock it. I will return it for another one to see if this one was just a damaged one. Plastic piece isn't strong enough. Not that great and not that cheap either.

The lock is really easy to install and even though I don't have a need to lock my files right now I might in the future, so I figured it would be best to buy the lock when I bought the file cabinet so I'd be prepared for whatever. Installation instructions are clear, precise and easy to follow & execute.
