Nice looking chair and seems sturdy except for the padding Staples seems to use in the chairs. I have had this chair for almost a year and have had to replace the seat after the seat cushion went flat. I did buy the insurance and they did replace the seat, so if you buy this chair spend the $10 to get the insurance.

Staples please use better padding even if it means we have to pay more for it!

First a disclaimer. I have only had this chair for less then a week. With that said, I have gone through enough computer chairs to give a fairly decent review. I originally went to Staples to purchase another chair that was on sale, that got great reviews. When I sat in it, it was totally to my liking. This chair was next to it, and I gave it a try. I found it immediately to be very comfortable,and it was only 10 dollars more. Before I purchased it, I looked at and sat in most chairs that were on display, but came back to this one.

It is reasonably easy to assemble, but you WILL NEED 2 people to put on the back. The instuctions were just pictures with no text, but extremely easy to follow. I especially liked the way the parts were packaged. You didn't have to figure out what part went were. Yes, it does have a a distintive aroma. No its not the new car smell, but its bearable and I am reasonably sure it will go away in a short period of time. It appears to be a very sturdy chair, and I look forward to getting many good years from it. I think for the price, it can't be beat.

My old computer chair recently needed replacing and I had replaced it with a couple used chairs that didn't do what I wanted in a chair. I saw Staples had a good sale on computer chairs so I went and got to try out several computer chairs. Since they had a good selection of chairs I was able to try out different chair styles and see which features I wanted and didn't want in my new chair. Then, when I found my chair--I pointed it out to my kids. So my wonderful kids all got together and got me this chair for Mother's Day that I found on sale at Staples for under $100! I love it! It is so comfortable, sturdy, rolls easily, and gives you good support. Just what I wanted in a computer chair!

  There is two levers on the chair. The upper lever turns so that the chair will then be allowed to move in a "rocking" motion.
