Use hanging folders because the other kind just slide down in file. Hangers are easy to label and then easy to locate needed file.

I'm a teacher and I bought these to help organize my files. I didn't feel as though I overstuffed them, but after about 2 weeks I found where 2 of the hanging files had torn at the top and broke. I reorganized some of my files to hold less paperwork in hopes that none of the others would tear.
One thing I really liked about these hanging file folders was the pretty pastel colors. It was a nice change from the dull brown and/or green ones.
