Excellent product for the money

Purchased this chair at an in-store promotional price of [$], and I'm extremely pleased. It was very easy to assemble, and took very little time. The chair feels very sturdy, and the leather has a very nice feel to it. The lumbar support is also nice, although it doesn't change a lot throughout the range of adjustment. I like the variety of adjustments...in addition to the normal up/down/tilt and lock, it also has the lumbar adjustment and adjustable arm rests. All in all, a very nice chair for the money. I don't know that I'd have bought it at the price listed on the website, but for what I paid, I got a heck of a deal, and a very nice, comfortable chair to boot.

I bought this chair at the sale price of [$], which was reasonable. I tested this chair in two stores, and both chairs were wobbly. I flipped them over and found screws that were not secure. I bought one and assembled the chair myself. Instructions recommend tightening screws monthly. NO chair should require tightening more than once a year. Bad design, screw holes much too large, causing the chair to become wobbly over time. My NEW chair had numerous painted surface scratches, plus the faux leather has numerous blemishes. I figured that this was why they were being sold $100 less than standard, such that all Staples stores were selling a bad lot of blemished chairs. It was not worth returning the chair and arguing. My behind cannot tell the difference.

It looks like a 1st class airline seat but is less comfortable than an economy seat on a flight to India. The initial fit is decent but doesn't last long. I returned another office chair (bought 24 hours prior) to "trade up" to this one. I was wrong.

  At Staples all our chairs undergo a pass fire resistant test and if the chairs go up in flames, it would not be sold. As for a fire rating the above chair does not have one.

  The tilt lockout locks the chair in the upright position only. Pulling the handle all the way out,
  allows the chair to tilt. Pushing the handle in locks the chair in the fully upright position.

I bought this product today at the store and it didnot come with directions or an owner's manual. I managed to put the chair together, but I would like to have directions for assembly and an owner's manual to be certain I am not missing parts and have done everything needed to put the product together as well as being able to operate its components.
