Comments about Staples QuickStrip™ Jewel Case Mailers, 4/Pack:
The same item number once represented a high quality sturdy cardboard design, thick enough to protect the jewel case from mailing damage. [...] What was delivered has the same item number but is not the same product. It's only a thin single layer cardboard; the original product was more than one layer, corrugated. So I have to return them all and seek a new supplier. The illustration shows the earlier product; what is delivered is NOT as illustrated!
Comments about Staples QuickStrip™ Jewel Case Mailers, 4/Pack:
Purchased this item number before, used to be a sturdy corrugated cardboard, now it is very thin cardstock at best. There is no way this will protect a jewel case going through the mail - its intended purpose. Its very disappointing that Staples would change the product so significantly but leave up the old photo, description and even use the same product number.
Comments about Staples QuickStrip™ Jewel Case Mailers, 4/Pack:
I am very disappointed with this CD mailer. I have been using CD mailers for jewel cases for 6 years from Staples. The original mailers, as shown in the catalog picture, were sturdy cardboard with excellent adhesive and pull tabs.
The current mailer is flimsy, difficult to assemble, the adhesive did not stick and the pull-tabs came apart to the point where I had to using packing tape to secure each box for shipping.
The picture in the catalog is NOT the product I was sent. It is a deceptive ad and an inferior product but still the same, high price tag!
