We use the jiffy bags to mail books in. They almost never tear or come apart. Thus they are economical.

It keeps shipping costs down because of its light weight and offers pretty nice protection for the mailing of clothing.
If it fits in a large mailbox rain isn't an issue, otherwise it can be soaked through. Buying by bulk is definitely the way to go. Easy to write on or affix labels. Nice product.
