Q: Are these envelopes compatible with laser printers? Hewlett Packard printer user guides stipulate that "Envelopes with peel-off adhesive strips must use adhesives that can withstand the heat and pressures of the printer’s fusing process." In particular, can the QuickStrip™ adhesive closure survive the heat & pressure of being run throught a laser printer without being fused prematurely or becoming unsealable? Asked on 1/22/2013 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Although nine out of nine users responded that they could use these envelopes in their laser printers, there is the possibility that the heat process used in fusing toner tot he paper could affect the adhesive and cause damage to the machine. Staples also has laser-printer press-adhesive envelopes that can be safe;y run through laser printers although I was only able to find them in standard size; another option would be to use laser printer labels to attach to the envelopes.
