Used to put Dutch oven cook-off recipes on a portable drive for our webmaster to post on our camp website. All leaders will be able to view each other's recipes and see who won at each week of camp. Much paper saved from previous years of publishing a cookbook and then trying to get it delivered to everyone. This flash drive and the subsequent posting of it on our camp website is both convenient, cost effective, and makes the information readily available.

Unfortunately, I did not read any reviews prior to my purchase. Lots of comments about how slow the unit is. So I did a side-by side comparison with my 1 GB Kingston. The Kingston transfer rate was around 6.3 kbps, whereas the Relay was around 3.8 kbps. I used the same folder for my test, so it was a true head-to-head test. Also, the USB plug may retract, but I could see it being full of pocket lint due to not being capped. I've seen comments about what a great design this style is because people always lose caps - I never have, and I'll purchase something that will be better protected.

I bought this for my Son to use to store all his research and documents for school. Has a lot of memory space and is user friendly enough for a 6th grader to get the hang of. Great product.

Purchased as "keeper of files" for a service organization I belong to but it feels like if you hold it too tight it will break. The retracting function will take getting used to and requires a special touch.
