It's simply stupid to add layers of human effort and cost. to something that should be handled in one fell swoop at checkout, saving time, personnel, postage, etc. If you want to get competitive....do discounts instead of REBATES. Rebates are NUTS!

I mainly use this USB Flash drive for transfer of small video files (.avi, .mov. etc under 3GB). However, for a file as small as 2GB it took about 20 minutes to transfer (from the desktop of my iMac to the flash drive plugged directly in).
PROS: I would recommend this for the basic user (word docs, etc). The price & capacity are great.

CONS: I would not recommend it for a pro or power user (large files, video files, High Res picture, etc.)

                  Most data programs would allow you to store more than one million client records per GB. Records with photographs, videos, or audio will take exponentially more space. Shop for value or get several small drives for rotating backups.

                  It's pretty tough to say! How many files you can store in your 8GB flash drive depends on the size of the files you're going to store. Moreover, each and every file can't be of same size. But roughly, we can calculate like this:

                  8GB = 8 x 1024 MB = 8192MB = Apx 8000MB

                  Say, if you're going to store MP3 songs in the stick (commonly around 5MB/file for 5 minutes song), then you can store up to 1600 songs in it.

                  Image files (.JPGs)/documents are around 100KB in size. So you can store literally 80,000 images in it.

                  Audio CD/VCD MPEG files are encoded in to 10MB per minute. By this calculation, you can store 800 minutes (13 hours of ACD,VCD) content in it.
