I do a lot of cards and documents. I like the inks but have found they are just a little hard to install and because of the heavy use I put them to. They seem to run out a bit faster than name brands. But I still use them becasue they are just a bit cheaper and that helps my finances.

I bought my printer a long time ago and picked it by whoever had the cheapest ink cartridges. The printer has been a work horse. However, whenever I use one of the off-brands, it takes three attempts to replace the ink. Don't know that I'm doing anything differently, it's like the printer wants its' own. Price is good, but you have to have patience.

I was disappointed to try to find the Canon inks at my Staples so I bought this instead. I got asked to review and noticed there were no reviews in almost a year. That bothers me so I will probably return and go to another retailer that carries Canon.

I opened the package this AM to replace a dead cartridge. The refill port immediately started leaking. I now have cyan blue fingers. The local Staples manager replaced the cart free. He also told me that they have been seeing similar problems.

Improper fit in printer. I don't know how these things work; however, it appears that the ink did not flow properly. I reinserted the cartridge and the ink smeared. I perfomed a nozzle cleaning and alignment to no avail. My first use (and last) use of a Staples replacement ink cartridge was an utter disaster. This is the first time that Staples has ever let me down.

I pick up the Staples ink cartridges whenever they have the house brand equivalent to my Canon 6 cartridges. Staples does not have all the Canon ink colors (like none of the "photo" colors), so I can't avoid the Canon brand for those. The Staples brand is less expensive (none of the inks is "cheap"), and they seem to last as long as the name brand. Highly recommend.
