If you want some great markers for a great price, these are perfect for you. I have been using these markers for about 4 months and they still work great. The only issue is that the ink goes on slightly unevenly, leaving white steaks. I would not recommend them for personal note taking, only because they are a little too bulky (about 3/4 inch in diameter) to be used practically. They erase extremely well with no marks left over. So, save yourself some money by getting these markers.

I bought these for my daughter to use on her dry erase board, and while I normally love the Staples brand, these were very low quality. They dry out very quickly if the lid isn't put right back on, or you are using it for a long period of time. They also fade out or stop writing all together if you write with them for more than 2 minutes. The price difference in these and name brand wasn't enough to make these for the price. I think the difference was $2 or so, so I suggest spending the extra $2. Otherwise you will be going right back to the store in a couple of days to get new ones.
