    As a lecturer/instructor I use a boatload of dry erase markers and these are about as good as you will find for the price. Are the name brands better? Probably. Is the extra cost worth the slight difference in quality? Not hardly. My only complaint is I can't locate the 12 packs any more.

        These are the best dry erase markers I've ever tried and I think I've tried them all. As a middle school math teacher who uses a white board for 4 different classes (6th-8th grade), I've gone through about 50 Expo markers so far this year. Those dry out after one day. The Staples brand markers stay strong even if the cap is left off a while (and I do this often). They're also very comfortable in your hand with the ridged rubber strip where you grip it. When I caught the six-pack on sale I bought 2 packs thinking they'd last about a week and I'd have to buy more, but amazingly I'm still using the two markers from one six pack two weeks later! Great buy. Great markers. The only brand I'll use from now on.
