I suppose it was a good idea that just doesn't work. The strips are hard to pull through the slot because it sticks to each other. Cable ties work better and don't collect fuzz.

These velcro ties are pretty standard and I can't complain. They definitely fulfill their purpose. I would just prefer more of a color choice and maybe a little tag for a label. My cords are hellish and although this exponentially fixed my problem I still have trouble finding out what electronic cords lead to what outlet.
