Beware of office furniture that bills itself as "easy assembly." This one was billed that way and was in fact easy to assemble. There were even extra parts in case some of the originals disappeared while assembly was in progress. I purchased this chair because of the mesh back because it will be used in Mesa, AZ and I thought this would prevent my back from sticking to the chair back during 100 degree weather. And it is working well. The price was also reasonable. I also liked the fact that each arm can be adjusted about one each outwards (about two inches) if you feel a little closterphobic.

    I was completely in awe of the ease of assembly and the fantastic and how easy the directions were to follow. After I put it together we were amazed at how nice it looked and then finding it very comfortable. Needless to say We are extremely happy with our choice.

          The chair is very comfortable, and looks good. The seat height adjusts to a higher level than my old desk chair, which I needed to avoid hunching my shoulders when using the keyboard. While the chair is larger than my former chair, because of the open back design, it doesn't look heavy or overwhelming in my small home office. It provides good back support.

          The flooring on which it sits is wood, and the chair does slide out from under the desk when not in use. Because the wheels pivot, I just need to turn one wheel, and the chair stays in place.

                This chair has tilt tension and lock. The knob under the chair adjusts the tilt tension.
