I am a professional flooring sales person and use it to clearly show the customers how their flooring area and project cost are calculated. It is easy to use, large display easy for the customer to view while I demonstrate their needs and folds in half for convenient pocket storage. I also bought one for my associate since the customers appreciated seeing the clarity of their flooring dimensions and costs which closes more sales.

Two minor quirks with this calculator. I liked that it was compact and would fold up when not in use. However, when unfolded, it will not lay flat. The two "halves" are not of equal thickness. The display half is thinner than the keypad half. The result is when it is unfolded to lay flat, the keypad half tilts up slightly and the display half tilts back slightly. This makes the calculator rock back and forth every time you press a key on the keypad. Very annoying. It would also have been nice if the hinge had some tension or slight resistance so that the display could be angled, or positioned, rather than always lay completely flat. Good as a compact, casual, handheld calculator. But annoying to use on a desk or table.

        It is a nice little calculator that one can carry in a shirt pocket. Basic functions work fine but setting tax rates and exchange rates do not setup as defined in the instructions. I finally got the tax rate to work but neither of the exchange rates. Test procedures, as in instruction, do not display the tax rate once it is set.

          This is a simple, compact, easy to use calculator. I use it mostly for school. It's lightweight and fits in a small side pocket of my schoolbag. I've dropped it and never had a problem. Solar powered, so I have no worries about the battery going dead during a big test! I do wish that it did not just unfold to 180 degrees. Being able to adjust the angle would be helpful. Display could also have a little more contrast. These two items would be great additions to it's design. Overall, a great purchase for the price.

            I like pretty much everything about this calculator except that you can't see the display unless you are practically right over the top of the unit. There is no way to see your calculations from a normal position sitting so you constantly have to flip up the top portion of the calculator.

              This unit is just right to carry around and perform such tasks as figuring discounts, mpg and similar tasks. The wallet style design protects the display from scating and keeps dirt out. In many small calculators the keys are too small and close together. The large, well spaced keys limit the chance of pushing more than one at a time for those of us with large hands and fingers. The display is clear and large enought to read without straining the eyes or holding it at nose distance. Would buy again.

                  If the tax rate is 11% then enter 11 then press RATE SET then press TAX+ and that does it. If the sale is say $25, enter the $25 and press TAX+ and you have the total with tax. Press TAX+ again and it will tell you the tax alone.
