Surprise, surprise! What a great little machine for a cheap little price! Prints in 2 colors of ink, sits solidly on the desk-top without wobbling during use, paper feeds without a hitch, print is clear and accurate, keys operate smoothly, lightweight for travel and its rather quiet when printing too. Although all plastic it seems quite solid and well built. Also comes with an AC power cord.
I like to purchase items at the bottom of the price scale in the hopes that I find (albeit rarely) a pearl of great price. This is it folks, you got lucky if you found this one...its a good deal for the money.

There are products that you love at first contact and ones you hate. This calculator fell into the latter camp. From the get go I had trouble with this machine as I simply could not figure out the instructions. When are these companies going to realize that English as an 8th language does not qualify someone to write technical manuals? Called Staples in hopes that someone there could explain to me how to perform certain calculations but nobody could. They were polite, and they tried, but when I put down the phone I knew less than when I picked it up.
As if all of this is not enough reason to regret buying this device it's set up for accountant use and therefore follows a completely different protocol when it comes to the simple act of subtracting something. Sure, you can get used to it, but every time you use a more traditional design you make mistakes as the result of using the wrong key sequence.
Wouldn't recomend this device to a friend...might give mine to an enemy.
