The post of the chair loosened to give side to side movement. This chair might be okay for light-weights, but definitely not for the heavy-weights. Even though it reclines, I would advise against it. The hardware is not heavy enough to support reclining.
If it wasn't for the Staples Warranty Policy, I would be extremely upset.

I loved this chair when I bought it but that love was short lived. The chair creaked after about a two weeks and I tried lubricating it to no avail and then the welds in the bottom broke and I had to return it to Staples.I bought a top end ($379) Lane Leather Exec. Chair and there is no comparison to the Sealy, the Lane is truly the best but a little more money. Worth every cent!
