It doesn't stack well. That's really the only drawback. I bought four to stack, but when placed one on top of the other, they slip and partially slide into the lower tray. I've tried everything to stabilize them, but there simply isn't enough of a base on the three sides to hold the next layer upright.

This is a very good letter tray. I like that I can vary the stacking. It makes it easier to retrieve papers and not dump everything. I am clumsy and am able to stick my hand between the trays and not have a slapstick comedy on my hands.
