I use this everyday at school with 2nd graders. If it can stand up to 20 7 & 8 year olds, it can stand up to just about anything!

I purchased this to replace a broken stapler in my first grade classroom. It will not cut to a useable point; mostly cuts only the wood and leaves the lead untouched or broken. I also do not like that it uses batteries. I will have to purchase another brand of pencil sharpener, which uses up more of my limited school funds.

I love having a sharpener without a wire! I think it would be better made with the sharpener hole in the front of the product rather than on the top. Either way, it was a great deal for a [$]product with Staples Easy Rebate!
