After years of use, I drop-kicked this thing accidently across a room. The top broke a little and I was heartbroken because the thing is so simple and useful. I didn't think they were still making them! So I taped my old one back together and bought a new one for my husband, who kept stealing mine. Just a simple good design that blends with all settings and styles.

I really wanted a paperclip holder that would stand up to the heavy use that I require in my paperwork, one that would have a small footprint on the desktop, and a design that wasn't goofy or looked unprofessional. This model brings all that together, and it's a whiz for dispensing paperclips, especially the #1 size clip. I'm fairly certain that William Middlebrook (he patented the modern design of it back in 1889) would be pleased with how far the technology has evolved for dispensing his simple invention.
