I was pleased the wood choice was dark to go with other wood furniture in my office. They are heavy/sturdy and are great for three small printers since the back is open for cords. Super look for the price. Buy it!

I have such a large cookbook collection that I couldn't fit them in my kitchen. This bookcase is dressy enough to keep in my breakfast nook and it perfectly displays the cookbooks. It's sturdy and extremely easy to assemble.

Not easy for one person to juggle components to construct. Two people recommended in instructions. The wood finish out-gassing is unpleasant for a few days

I created a free-standing bookshelf wall using 6 of these shelves. It was excellent.

The only negative is the vertical space between the shelves. It is way too much--making it not the most efficient use of space. This size bookcase would be great with 4 shelves.
