I'm a teacher who likes this pen because there's no cap to fiddle with and it glides smoothly over paper making grading a breeze. The color stands out so I know what color I'm grabbing out of my pen cup. The only thing I don't like is sometimes the end gets gloppy and the ink won't come out. Wiping it with my fingers solves the problem, but leaves my fingers full of ink!

      I thought the pens were dried up because the protective cover was not recognized. Therefore I returned the pens for a replacement and then realized that there was a plastic cover on the nib. After that was removed, the pens worked fine. Maybe a note on the package (maybe there was one)telling us ancient one about the plactic nubs. I think they are a good idea.

        These pens are hands down my favorite to use! Ever since I found them, nothing else works for me. I use all the colors - these are so comfortable to use, you can use them for long periods without any irritation and the med ballpoint is always smooth - I always have a full set on hand!
