This hutch really compliments the L-Shaped desk very well. Roomy, with lots of storage. The glass doors function well and give it a little class. Would have been nice if they would have included a fourth shelf. Assembly is a snap, just as it was with the desk. I installed an under-cabinet light below the drawer beause I thought it made it too dark in that area. What a difference! So, if you have something that it could be used on, it would be a great addition.

Hutch is made of pressboard and the back panel is cardboard. Also, to attach the hutch to a desk, you will need a 3/64 drill bit to make pilot holes in the desk. Problem with that is that a 3/64 drill bit is not very common and we couldn't find one here in town. My suggestion is that an alternate size drill bit be given in the instructions.

The hutch is nice looking and has a lot of shelf space. The down side is assembling it and then having to lift it on top of the desk. Two of the cams broke away from the particleboard during this process and I was forced to create my own 'dowel' support system, since I didn't want to wait on replacement parts.
