Bored enough to read a review on tape???

Tape is good when you need to stick things together, like a box lid. It is cheap tape, not high quality but I guess it could be worse

My entire shipping department is consisted of Staples Brand products but never the tape. So I decided to give it a try.

Bummer- flimsy and cheap feeling. For the extra $ I will go ahead and spring for the name brand tape next time. Good deal for storage but shipping boxes cross country I get nervous which leads to over taping packages and ugly presentation.

A Pro is that for the $ you receive lots of packing tape.

Only Staples Brand Product I will not purchase again.

the ends can get stuck on the roll. tricky to peel off. should come with a little plastic peeler, not too sharp or dangeous however, to fix this. Maybe some sort of solvent solution with applicator tip would do it. Usually I just use my fingernails.

If the tape splits along the length, it becomes a much worse problem. Tape should be structured not to shear along its length. I've had to throw away whole rolls ococasionally.

I bought this tape for a household move, as I had agreed to pack things like books and wardrobes. I had run out of tape and needed more, and since I could get this from Staples the next day I ordered it. This tape was very difficult to use with the 3M dispenser I own and seemed "tough". It wouldn't tear properly, and twisted easily. Then a day later I noticed that the tape had released from all my boxes! I was very concerned about the contents in the bottom of the wardrobes spilling out (shoes, etc.) Even when I tried to stick it back on the boxes it came right off.

I would not purchase this tape again, and I do NOT recommend it.
