Difficult to review staples alone because one package of staples isn't any different from any other of the same size.

When I bought a new stapler (One-Touch DX-3) I thought I was buying the lowest price box of standard staples, but what I bought was either mis-marked or in the wrong place on the shelf. So, I paid a couple of bucks more, but now have a box of 5,000 staples.

I probably won't live long enough to use that many staples, but there's comfort in knowing that I'll never need to buy staples again. Truth is that the DX-3 is excellent and really works on up to 28 pages. The staples I bought are the correct size, so work well.

I'd recommend both the DX-3 and the staples from Staples. Both are good values that perform as or better than expected.

These are the absolute WORST staples I have ever used (in my 35 years of office work!). The staples jam the stapler (and not to contradict another reviewer but we DO use brand name staplers!)and they simply do not go through any amount of paper. I estimate I have wasted several hours stapling and re-stapling, removing clogged staples from the stapler, etc. I came on line to order BRAND NAME staples (and am tossing all the Staples brand staples)and thought I should warn others. This product is in no way worth the slight price savings! I found I could not file this review without clicking on a star BUT these staples do NOT deserve the one star!

I believe these staples broke my one touch stapler. They got jammed when I tried to staple and my stapler never worked again. I also received them all broken. I ended up throwing them away with the broken stapler.

I have been fighting with these staples for over a year (we had a large quantity on hand) and I will never order this brand again. Every row jams and breaks toward the end. I've had to throw away huge quantities of staples plus the hassle of messing with them!

This is literally the worst product I have ever purchased in my life. I had been using the Swingline brand staples but these were on sale when I ran out so I tried them... They constantly clump together in the stapler and cause it to jam. Not just once in a while but almost every single time you use it.
Each time you have to open it up, remove the clumped staples, and throw them away.
After switching back to the Swingline brand I have had no further problems.... so I know it's not the stapler.
If I could give this product zero stars, I would.

These staples jammed two staplers within days - to the point where we could not repair the staplers and had to order new ones. hmm...perhaps this is Staples plan to sell more staplers!
