It came with excellent instructions for assembly, came with all tools and parts required. All the small parts and tools were neatly packaged, separately, so there was no confusion as to which small part was for which part of the assembly process. Under normal circumstances, the chair should take no more than 20 minutes to assemble.

First of all, this chair looks better in the picture. I thought the leather was going to be shiny and the color reddish brown. In actuality, the color is duller brown and there is hardly any shine. The back is also a bit too straight for a long comfortable sitting experience. Would be great if the back adjusted for angle. But the chair is soft enough and sturdy enough to give years of service. The leather is good quality, the stitching is well done and the whole thing goes together in about 20 minutes. I like that it has arms also, and the arms padding is nice.

Bought this chair for my 81 year mother. She wanted a chair that was comfortable, had padded armrests to help her get out of easily. Looked around other office supply stores and department stores nothing compared to this chair.One issue I thought I was gonna have was stores in my area didn't carry the item at their store. [...]. 8 screws and the chair was assembled.In closing, this chair met all of her expectations, and she's pretty picky.So I would definitely recommend this chair and future purchases from Staples... [...]!!!!

We have been using these waiting room chairs as practical all purpose chairs for seniors in assisted living. The chairs are sturdy, well-padded, they don't move, and the arms are the right height for pushing off of to get up on your feet. They are not the most attractive chairs, but are relatively safe and functional and work fine as multipurpose diningroom/livingroom/card table chairs in a small apartment.
