Great chair for the money. Had the store put it together, so I can't remark on assembly, but it works well for my home office chair, and looks nice too. If I were to change anything about this chair it would be to add a few more layers of padding in the seat, as it gets a little uncomfortable when you sit in it for a while.

The chair back is slanted. I called staples to ask to address the situation and they never called me back. I found staples to be completely unresponsive.

Some assembly time is required but the hardware is all very neatly staged for easy assembly. A fun evening project for a good quality office chair.

I bought this chair for my wife, who's current home office chair was old and uncomfortable. It was the standard assembly routine, so I was able to assemble it in under 20 minutes. It was funny to see the look of relief in my wife's face when she sat down for the first time. No more aching rear end or sore hips. The chair actually has a large height range, which is important since my wife is only 4-feet, 11-inches tall. She couldn't lean back at first because the adjustment was too stiff, but I set it to the lowest level and now she is able to lean back and relax. A very good buy from Staples.
