Left too long on the shelf?

I was very disappointed with these folders. I buy folders frequently for my business and other presentations. Either they were very old or moisture got into them because all of the fasteners were rusted. Besides the way they looked, it was difficult to rotate the closures. I did not have time to return them and find others so I used them, but was displeased at the quality of the product. Hopefully, this was a one-time problem. I don't know if the problem was with the manufacturer or Staples.

Needed a professional, yet cost effective method of presenting Board materials. We added a separate label on the front. Despite travelling across the country in a suitcase, these portfolios were sturdy, kept the documents in order, and provided an easy way for Members to transport home. Overall, a professional presentation.

The color selection was one color. The tabs were very tight and not easy to pry apart. Would like to have a little more room for the pages to lay flat on the desk.

I use these report covers all the time for different things at work. On the front of the package it states a 135 page capacity. I cannot get half that amount in these. The center page rips and the metal part falls out. I have already wasted several trying to get them closed.
