  The site (Staples) said that the material used to make this is "reinforced". This likely means fiber-reinforced plastic, which is a composite material made of a polymer matrix reinforced with fibers. Hope this helps!

How wide is this case file? There are not any dimensions on the website and there are no other pictures other than a front view. I am comaring this product to "Staples® Better Document™ Poly Expanding File, Black, Each" (Item: 759868). I like how wide the Poly file is, but I like the look of this one better. Is it comparable to how wide/how many documents I can fit into it?
