I saw so many good reviews and at the same time, Staple had this like [$] discount from retail price.[...] I thought I had to assemble it. Nope! It came to my house whole professionally built. All I had to do was put in next to my desk.I was a little afraid when I actually went to Staples to see how good this cabinet was after ordering online. The satples center store demo looked so weak and flimsy. But the one I got seemed a bit upgraded, so it is a little more robust. Maybe that demo was sitting in that store for 10+ years that the store didn't upgrade.Anyway, it is robust, secured with a lock keys, big storage, nice design. It isn't so cheap but as long as you treat the cabinet carefully and don't put heavy stuffs in or on, it should last really long.

THE METAL FILE SEPARATORS DO NOT STAY IN PLACE AND CONSTANTLY GET CAUGHT IN THE TRACK AND FALL OUT OF PLACE. OTHER THAN THAT THE FILING CABINET WORKS VERY WELL.

There was virtually no assembly required and the construction is very sturdy (compared to a broken wooden file cabinet that I was replacing). The drawers are also very deep so this holds a lot of files. It will tip forward, however, if you open a heavy drawer too far.

We purchased this cabiet to replace a lower end "cheap" model. The lock on the old cabinet was not secure at all. This new cabinet has an excellent locking system. Also, the drawers operate very smooth on this new cabinet. A great purchase for any office/ home office enviroment.
