I've only been using this for about a week but I must say I am absolutely in love with this chair. I purchased it for [$] and its worth every penny. 1) THE SETUP IS SUPER EASY! (these guys have been talking to[...]). The instructions are simple. I didn't have to redo any steps!2) It works great! See, when it comes to new products, I'm kind of a pessimist. The fact that I don't have any complaints; I couldn't even say that it doesn't roll smoothly because my carpet is thick, speaks monuments for this product. I'm impressed!(sorry for the double negative)

Other commenters here experienced this failure in the warrantee period, mine failed later. When I contacted STAPLES support, I was told that they would replace broken parts during the warrantee period (they have this item in stock right now), but that they WERE NOT ALLOWED to sell me a replacement part for the chair.
I asked, "By who?", and was told, "The United States Government". It seems STAPLES has chosen to not acquire merchandising permits for replacement parts for their STAPLES brand products...
So they can replace parts within the warrantee period, but after that, if your furniture breaks, it's broken and you can't buy parts to fix it.
Ludicrous.
I like these chairs so much, I own two (one for computer desk, one for guitar practicing), and have bought two as presents for others (girlfriend, and co-worker with back issues).
Due to this intentional policy of refusing to support office furniture products outside of the warrantee, I will no longer be a STAPLES customer, for any reason.
Comments about Staples® Vocazo Black Mesh Manager's Chair:
I really didn't like this chair. It looks like it would be ergonomic, but it's not. The shape of the chair back hit me all wrong. The extra cushioning for your back is not supportive. The fabric stretched out after a couple of months offering even less support as time went on.
It claims to adjust, but I tried and tried and was only able to change the height.
If you are searching for something that LOOKS expensive, then this is the chair for you. If you are going to use it for more than like an hour a day, do something else.

I asked if I could purchase a new chair at my small office because the chair I currently have has no back support. I was given a $100 limit. This chair fits me perfectly and completely supports my lower back. It's the most comfortable chair I've ever had in an office before and I know my previous office (corporate) paid a lot more for their chairs. I'm 5'2" so finding a chair that fits me is difficult. Not only is it super comfy it also looks like an expensive chair. HIGHLY recomend this to anyone but especially to the shorties out there.
Comments about Staples® Vocazo Black Mesh Manager's Chair:
The seat's high-density foam is very comfortable and less commonly found at this price point. Unfortunately the back doesn't support an upright, at-the-computer type of sitting posture. The simple addition of an independent locking tilt for the chair back would make this a 4 or even 5 star product. (The 2-panel mesh back does feature a zipper, allowing a pillow to be inserted for improved ergonomics, though this feature isn't highlighted in the product literature.)
Comments about Staples® Vocazo Black Mesh Manager's Chair:
The design of this chair caused it to break within four months of purchase. The screws that hold the back in place are attached to a thin wooden layer underneath the chair. When pressure is applied to the back of the chair (ie leaning back as you would think would be ok) it caused the screws to break through the thin layer and now the back is set back permanently. Would not recommend this chair.

I use 8 of these in a setting that might rate a "commercial" chair if schools actually had money to spend on such things - the steel base (ie, not plastic) is good. The back is a bit wider than it needs to be, so they take up a bit more sideways space than is really needed. The height adjust lever gives the misleading impression that it also has an effect on the tilt, but it only actually has a lock-out for tilt - the tilt tension is down under the chair, and you have to get out of the chair to adjust that. Back and seat tilt together (ie, back is screwed to seat, not hinged). Arms are 100% plastic, we'll see how that works out in the long run. All in all a good chair for a good price. Includes tools and hardware for assembly (even extra screws in case you drop/lose one), but unpacking/assembly process is slightly tedious[...]

I have a part-time at home job, so this chair suits for occasional sitting at the computer, and also for several hours. When sitting for 6-8 hours, as with ANY chair, you might feel the need to get up, walk around or adjust posture. Overall, I'm happy with it. Lumbar is nice, rolls easy. I'm tall, so arm rests are low for me, but not a problem.
