These glue sticks are great for doing crafts around the house with the kids. Easy enough for little hands to use without making a big mess. Less cleanup and bother. Also great for everyday needs when you just need a little dab of glue here or there. No need to worry about the runny mess of liquid glue. Just recap and put away until you need them again. I always try to have at least two or three glue sticks around the house at all times. Great product.

I purchased 4 packs of 4 Staples glue sticks to glue a paper form to an manila envelope. I purchased the Staples brand because I expected it to be just as good as the others and save a little money at the same time. Boy was I ever so wrong. I glued 75 papers to the envelopes just to have to go back and re glue all of them by covering the entire paper rather than the edges and an X in the middle. Then when that was dry I was still having to go back and re-glue half of the majority of them with regular Elmer's glue. I'll never again use staples glue. After that I just bought a name brand glue for $1 for three sticks and the local dollar tree to do a 4th of July craft with my children and that worked 100 times better.

          It is not advisable that you use these Glue Sticks on glass or hard surfaces, like walls. I would recommend using the Elmer's Removable Adhesive Putty (Item: 419997) on each corner of the poster you're wanting to hang.
