I see there is roughly a $30 difference in price between the Staples brand and the Elmers brand 30 x 40 foam core. What is the difference between the sheets themselves due to this big difference in price?

  There is no difference between the two different brands of foam board; they are both 3/16 inches thick and are both 40 by 30 inches.

I'll admit this is a bit of an odd question. I am planning to cut put these behind some posters for storage. I need to know whether or not they're acid-free so that no chemical residue will bleed into the posters over a long period of time. If you cannot provide this information, can you give me more information on what material this is made of? Thank you.
