This isn't "fine furniture," but is perfectly adequate and practical for books and some knick-knacks. The price is very good--since I bought it sale.
Note: I have four smaller bookcases like this one, which I bought 8 years ago. They've been moved four times and are still holding up very well. I did need to reattach the back panel after each move, but it was an easy repair.

I was disappointed in this product. I originally bought it to hold books. I love the beautiful white color and the flexibility of being able to move the shelves. Unfortunately, I am afraid to place anything of substantial weight on this piece. It rocks from side to side and the backing is made of cardboard. I am now searching for a more sturdy piece to hold books. If it were more sturdy, it would be the perfect piece.
