This pen is great for demonstration parties because their is no cap to get lost. They're not too expensive if one gets "lost" and they can even be an incentive to get someone to book a party if some likes one enough. The purple one is very popular. In the long run it's cheaper than replacing ones that lose their caps. It looks classier too.

I wait tables at an expensive restaurant so it's important to have a nice looking pen which isn't too expensive that way if a customer walks off with it it's no big deal. I have been using these pens that for work for maybe 4yrs now. But, this last batch I recently purchased felt different and the ink has been spotty - many of the pens need to be shaken periodically to come to life. Maybe this is an isolated case of a bad batch.

Buy these all the time. First time to get a box where all are faulty. Haven't tried to return them because I didn't save the receipt. Subsequently went to different store to buy them and they had no box of 12 in black, plenty of blue. Had to buy 5 pack. Not economical! Will be interesting to see if someone actually reads comment and offers solution! This pen is a staple, pardon the pun, in my household. Has been for years.

I own several dozen of these pens stored in two places in my house besides the ones that we use by the phone and in the pen receptical. I buy these when I can because I am concerned that they will be discontinued! I guess I could say that I hoard them!!!

We got an assorted pack of this type pen (Xeno, retractable, black ink) and what a waste. They were to slow to write at first and worked okay. But now that we've had them for a few months, they only write for a few seconds and then they don't write at all.
