Bought these pens because I am a nurse and write a great deal. The ink was inconsistant, sometimes the flow was light and at other times came out in globs. Finally a cap came off in my pocket and ruined a whole uniform...leaking through jacket, pants, even on to my skin. Won't buy these again.

        These are great little pens. They're a lot like the Uni/Mitsubishi rollerballs only a lot cheaper. They are a little funny in that they definitely write best when the pen is closer to perpendicular to the paper, and they put down a thick and dark line of ink that makes them unsuitable for writing on both the front and back of a page. That being said, you're not likely to find a better pen in their price range.

        Some pens lay down a lot of ink that stays wet for a while while others roll or smear a very thin layer that dries quickly. This is the first kind, which generally feel better to write with, in my opinion.

              I'm replacing black-ink pens which I received a couple of years ago. I don't know if it's a roller ball or a gel ink. It's a Staples brand, clear-barreled pen, with a black finger grip and 7mm printed, in silver, beside the Staples name on the barrel. I loved these pens and want more. Can someone help me to identify which ones I should buy?
